Dr. Navaratnasothie Selvakkumaran (Selva), is a visionary leader with grit who mastered the state-of-the-art in the areas of AI/ML, data infrastructure, and cloud architectures.
Selva is from Sri Lanka, where he failed to join one of the prestigious universities for his undergrad program. Upon that failure, he promised the family to obtain a PhD, and that promise led him to USA where he earned his PhD in Computer Science.
Selva has known Jerry for well over 12 years and Hayk for over five years. In his career, demonstrating significant achievements in complex enterprise software, cost-efficient data infrastructures and advanced machine learning, he fostered a learning culture within his teams.
In addition, he has played a critical role as Chief Data Scientist at ZowDow and ServiceTitan, where he led AI/ML initiatives and data warehouse efforts, contributing to ServiceTitan's status as a decacorn.
Jerry Boonstra is an established hands-on CTO and a repeat co-founder. With a successful exit from Jukin Media, the leading crowd-sourced-video licensor to television and movies, he tech-enabled their content acquisition and licensing process to take them from a $5M to $50M company, and was recognized with a Digital Innovators industry award. A specialist in cloud infrastructure, Jerry was instrumental in building the video distribution backends for Frequency Networks, and for Vurbl for audio as co-founder. Vurbl, an a creator-focused free audio distribution platform, didn’t find its product market fit becoming defunct in 2023.
